On June 2, 2026, the historic Imperial Spa building in Karlovy Vary hosted the premiere of the documentary film Karlovy Vary: The Power of Water, created as part of the Feel Karlovy Vary project.
Guests had the opportunity to be among the first to watch a film dedicated to the unique phenomenon of Karlovy Vary’s mineral springs, their origin, healing tradition, and their role in shaping one of Europe’s most famous spa destinations.
The event brought together city representatives, project partners, tourism professionals, local residents, and visitors. Following the opening remarks, guests enjoyed the premiere screening and informal networking throughout the evening.
The idea for the film emerged after years of communication with visitors to Karlovy Vary. While many tourists are familiar with the city’s colonnades, thermal springs, and beautiful architecture, few understand the fascinating story behind them.
